Pattern and colour sit at the centre of everything she designs, and this scarf carries both: bold squares or a classic check, in colourways chosen to stand out against a dark winter coat.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eIt is knitted in small batches at a family-run mill in Portugal from 100% merino lambswool spun in Italy. Once knitted, the fabric is gently felted. Felting draws the fibres closer together, giving the scarf a dense, soft handle and a surface that holds its shape through years of wear.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003ch3\u003eMerino Lambswool Scarf\u003c\/h3\u003e\u003cp\u003eLambswool comes from a sheep's first shearing and is finer and softer than wool from older animals. Merino is finer still. Together they make a scarf that sits comfortably at the neck, without the scratch many people associate with wool. Wool also keeps its warmth when the air is damp and breathes when you come indoors, so the scarf can stay on from a cold walk into a warm room.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eAt 15 by 200 centimetres it is long and narrow.
