Audrey's Chocolates - A Prickle of Hedgehogs
Couldn't load pickup availability
A trio of handmade milk chocolate hedgehogs from Audrey's Chocolates, moulded from smooth Valrhona Satilla 38% chocolate and finished with piped detailing so each one has its own quills and face rather than a plain silhouette. A "prickle" is the correct collective noun for hedgehogs, which is where the name comes from.
At 60g for three, they're sized for sharing or for keeping to yourself, and small enough to work as a gift topper rather than a gift on their own.
Audrey's Chocolates has been handmade in Hove, Sussex, since 1948, when Lionel and Dorothy Hamblin opened a small confectioner on Church Road. Master chocolatier William Pain, who trained at Fortnum & Mason and later ran Floris Chocolatier in Soho, took over the business with his wife Clarice, and some of the equipment from those London chocolate kitchens is still in use in the Hove workshop today. Audrey's works with Valrhona chocolate, traceable from bean to bar, and its packaging is palm oil free and recyclable.
Minimum shelf life of 4 months.
