Lucy Campbell is a Scottish painter and picture-story-teller, and this card is printed from one of her original paintings. Her work draws on the wild, its lore and its creatures, and on the symbols people use when words are not enough, which is her own description of what she is doing.
She has exhibited and sold original paintings since 2003, and began printing cards from them at the end of 2012. The name LupiArt comes from lupine, the Latin for wolf-like, and from Lupi-Lu, a nickname she had as a child.
The card is 15 x 15cm and blank inside. It is wrapped individually in a biodegradable cellophane sleeve and supplied with an envelope. We stock the range because these are paintings first, and the square card is the only format that lets a square composition arrive uncropped.
Looking After Printed Card Stock
Handle the printed face by its edges, as the coating on art card holds fingerprints in a way that uncoated stock does not. Any marks that do appear will lift with a clean dry cloth, though a damp one will dull the finish permanently. Keep cards away from steam and from the top of a fridge, both of which carry enough moisture over time to soften the fold.
