Christmas Vintage Angel Garland

Ten angels, each holding a small Christmas tree and a lit candle, are strung along three metres in this garland from Mamelok. Every figure is die-cut, embossed and finished by hand in the UK, and each measures around 140 × 200mm.

The design follows the Victorian scraps that Mamelok sold in its early years in Breslau, where the firm began as one of the first commercial colour printers. Mamelok now makes its whole range in the UK, near Cambridge.

Looking After Paper Decorations

Keep the garland well away from candle flames and open fires, since paper decorations catch quickly. When the season ends, wrap it loosely in tissue and store it flat in a dry cupboard, where it will keep its colour and relief for many years.
