Hand carved fish-shaped spoon. Our mini spoon are so popular we decided to supersize them. The size is great for sitting into small pots, such as spice or sugar pots. In Ancient African culture, fish are known to symbolise creativity, fertility, and a new phase in your life. Gift this spoon to a loved one, or collect it for yourself to build a traditional, rustic style in your kitchen. Use them for serving your favourite jam or honey as well. WHO MADE YOUR SPOON? The contemporary wooden products are hand carved in a Nairobi workshop run by one of the founders of the popular Maasai Market in Westlands, Zephania. These items are made from Wild Olive wood that is all sustainably sourced from Zephania’s own plantations in his hometown, Kissi, where he continually re-plants trees.
