Cherubs Letterpress Greeting Card

The Cherubs Letterpress Greeting Card is printed in Glasgow by The Passenger Press, on paper milled in the UK, and belongs to their Amorum collection, named after the Latin for “of loves”. A QR code on the back of the card leads to the story behind its image.

Rhian Nicholas, who founded the press, prints every batch by hand on vintage letterpresses in her studio and shop in Glasgow, so the cherubs are pressed lightly into the surface of the card.

The colour and depth of the impression vary a little from card to card, as they do with any press inked by hand. It comes with a brown kraft envelope and suits Valentine's Day, an anniversary or a wedding.

We stock the Amorum cards because they are printed in our own city and their images come from real archives.

A Note on Care

Keep the card flat in its envelope until it's given, which keeps the corners neat. On display, it will keep its colour longest away from direct sunlight.
