This Sacred Heart ornament is set within a burst of rays and finished in a gold tone, 5 inches across. It is the smaller of the two sun-ray designs we stock from Love and Honor Jesus, and it is made in India.

The Sacred Heart, wreathed in flame and light, is one of the most widely used images in the milagro and ex-voto tradition of Mexico and Latin America, where small metal offerings are left at shrines in thanks or in hope. This piece borrows that image for decoration, and it suits a Christmas tree or a wall.

Caring for Metal Ornaments

Dust the ornament with a soft, dry cloth. Keep it away from damp, which can dull the gold-tone finish, and avoid metal polish, which can strip the colour from the surface.
