Scotland Garland by East End Press

This garland carries ten Scottish shapes, screen printed by hand on both sides and sewn in random order along three metres of strong cotton thread. It is made by East End Press, the Glasgow print studio, with a hanging loop at each end.

The paper is handmade from recycled cotton waste from the textile industry, which gives it a soft, slightly textured surface that holds the dense colour of screen printing. East End Press use no plastic in their garlands or packaging.

Hanging a Sewn Paper Garland

Keep the garland indoors and away from radiators and candles, as heat dries the paper and makes it brittle. Between seasons, coil it loosely and store it flat in a dry box.
