Elen of the Ways A4 Folk Art Print

Spirit of Lemuria is the work of Leanne Ta'Iki Anawa, an artist based in Glastonbury, and this is one of two A4 folk art prints we stock from her. Elen of the Ways is a figure from the folklore Leanne draws on, an antlered guide who walks the reindeer paths and the old green roads.

The design imitates the bold carved lines and flat blocks of a relief print. The image is drawn, and each print is produced on A4 parchment paper, which takes the ink with a soft grain and a warm tone in place of the flat white of a standard art paper.

Each print is signed by hand at the lower edge and supplied unframed in a clear cello sleeve with a rigid backing board, so it can go straight into a frame of your own choosing. A4 is a common frame size, so nothing needs trimming or mounting to fit.

Leanne trained at art college and works under the name Spirit of Lemuria, which also covers her greetings cards and an oracle deck she published herself.
