In 1911, something special was created with the Kaweco Sport. Stylish and compact: when closed, the pocket fountain pen measures just 10.5 cm, making it highly portable as an everyday pen. With the cap re-positioned, it grows to a normal size of 13 cm.
Kaweco has been making writing instruments in Germany since 1883. The Sport was first designed in 1911, originally created for officers and athletes who needed a reliable and portable pen. The design has barely changed since. The name Kaweco comes from its founders Koch, Weber and Compagnie, and all nibs are still made in Germany today.
The Sport comes with a fine nib and is refillable, making it the more sustainable choice for anyone who writes regularly. Less haste, less waste.
Kaweco Ink and Fountain Pen Cartridges
The Sport takes standard Kaweco cartridges, and we stock the six-pack of ink cartridges alongside a ten-pack colour mix for anyone who likes to vary things through the year. If you would rather use bottled ink, the Kaweco mini converter fits inside the barrel and works with our 50ml Kaweco ink bottle, which is the most economical and least wasteful way to keep writing.
Kaweco Sport Pen Clips
Two slide-on clips are available to finish the pen and keep it secure in a pocket or tucked into a notebook: the gold-plated octagonal clip and the Nostalgie octagonal clip. Both are sold separately, as is the ink.
