Each of these Sacred Hearts is set with a small mirror and finished in an antique bronze tone, 6 inches across. They are made by hand in India and follow the form of the milagro, the small votive charm of Mexico and Latin America.

The mirror catches and returns light, so the hearts work as well in a window or on a Christmas tree as on a wall, and they sit comfortably in a group of mixed pieces.

Cleaning a Mirrored Ornament

Polish the mirror with a soft, dry cloth, and if it needs more, dampen the cloth with glass cleaner instead of spraying the ornament, since liquid behind the glass can lift its silvering. Dust the bronze-tone frame with a dry cloth.
