Plastic-Free Wooden Toilet Brush

Switching out a plastic toilet brush is one of the simplest swaps you can make for a more sustainable bathroom. Every time a conventional plastic brush is used, tiny plastic bristles shed and make their way into the water system. This one does the job just as effectively, without any of that.
The ecoLiving plastic-free toilet brush has an FSC certified beech wood handle and plant-based bristles made from natural coir and tampico fibres, derived from coconut husks and the agave cactus. Both materials are naturally tough, effective at cleaning, and biodegradable at the end of their life. The entire brush can be composted at home or disposed of with garden waste when it’s time to replace it.

This is the compact version, smaller than the original and designed to fit most standard toilet bowls. A good option for tighter spaces or smaller bathrooms.

Natural Toilet Brush Bristles
Tampico fibre comes from the agave lechuguilla cactus, grown naturally in Mexico. Coir fibre comes from the outer husk of the coconut. Both are naturally antimicrobial, stiff enough to clean effectively, and will biodegrade completely unlike nylon or plastic alternatives.

FSC certification means the wood is sourced from responsibly managed forests, with verified standards around ecosystem protection, workers’ rights, and sustainable harvesting. Beech is a naturally hardwearing wood well suited to bathroom use.

Rinse after use and allow to air dry between uses. Do not leave standing in water.
