Skadi Norse Snow Goddess Greetings Card

Spirit of Lemuria is the work of Leanne Ta'Iki Anawa, an artist based in Glastonbury, and this card is printed from one of her paintings. Skadi is the snow goddess of Norse myth, a huntress of the winter mountains, remembered in the Prose Edda for being made to choose a husband from among the gods by looking only at their feet.

Leanne trained at art college and works under the name Spirit of Lemuria, which covers her cards, her A4 folk art prints and an oracle deck. The paintings draw on Norse, Celtic and Arthurian figures, on the turning of the year, and on the animals attached to each.

The card measures 140 x 140mm and is blank inside, so it carries a birthday, a midwinter greeting or nothing at all. It is supplied with a white envelope.

Blank inside and square at 140mm, which fits a standard frame once the fold is trimmed.
