Original Beldi glass from Marrakech in southwestern Morocco. This iconic green glass has been manufactured by Le Verre Beldi since the 1940s and is made entirely from locally recycled glass - the green glass we hear is made from Heineken bottles!

Beldi meaning 'local' in arabic was first created by Kesy Beldi as a tea glass throughout morocco.

The Beldi glass has now become the nation's favourite vessel for fresh mint tea, cafe noir and nous-nous coffee. Use to create a colourful table setting for water, ice tea or hot drinks.

All glass is mouth-blown and the production ensures the survival of traditional craftsmanship and creates jobs for the local community.

Due to the recycled material and the mouth-blown process small air bubbles and biases may occur.
We think it gives the product character, especially when knowing that the small imperfections are caused by the hands of the artisans.

The glass can withstand both hot and cold liquids and is used in Morocco to serve the traditional mint tea.

It is dishwasher and microwave safe.
