This Christmas card is die-cut and embossed in the shape of Father Christmas, carrying a tree and a sack of toys, and it is made in Great Britain by Mamelok. It comes with an envelope.
The first commercial Christmas card was printed in London in 1843, and die-cut, embossed cards like this one followed within a few decades. Mamelok, founded in Breslau in that same century, still produces them in the UK on acid-free paper.
