Papier-mâché Christmas Lantern Bauble

These decorations are perfect to display on Christmas trees or as eye-catching standalone decorations for tabletop displays and window arrangements. Each bauble is carefully made from recycled materials and hand-painted by skilled artisans, ensuring no two are exactly alike. The decorations are made by a fair trade group based in Kashmir. The paper to make the decorations comes from old newspapers and books that are collected and recycled into paper pulp that is moulded into shape. They are then hand painted by highly skilled artisans continuing a tradition first introduced to the region in the 14th century. The artisans are members of the World Fair Trade organisation.
