Eight fabric mushrooms made from recycled sari offcuts are strung along this garland, which measures 150cm with a hanging loop. It is made in India for Namaste, and the designs and colours vary from one garland to the next.
The fabric comes from offcuts, remnants and surplus stock from the textile and clothing industries. The producer belongs to a network that is a member of the World Fair Trade Organization and works with nearly a hundred groups of artisans across rural and semi-urban India.
Caring for a Fabric Garland
Spot clean any marks with a damp cloth and let the garland dry flat. Keep it away from candles and open flames.
