Silver Metal Leaping Hare Decoration

A leaping hare, cast in recycled aluminium with a silver finish, hangs from a blue velvet thread in this small decoration, 10 × 7cm. It is handcrafted in India for Namaste and makes a pair with the hare and moon decoration.

The hare runs through British folklore as a creature of the moon and the spring, and it appears again and again in old carvings and woodcuts.

Looking After the Hare

A soft, damp cloth is all it needs; dry it at once afterwards. Abrasive cleaners will take off the silver finish.
