Snowman Christmas Garland

Ten snowmen in top hats, each with a pipe and carrying a small Christmas tree, run along three metres in this garland from Mamelok. Each figure is die-cut and embossed in Great Britain and finished by hand, and measures around 116 × 210mm.

The design follows the Victorian scraps that Mamelok printed in its early years in Breslau, where the firm was among the first commercial colour printers. Every snowman is pressed into relief after printing, which lifts the brim of the hat and the branches of the tree away from the card.

Looking After Your Snowman Garland

Keep the garland away from heat and flame, since paper and card catch quickly. If the figures twist on the string, turn them back gently by their edges, where the card is firmest. Store it loosely folded in tissue in a flat box, so that the embossing is not crushed by the weight of other decorations.
